It’s Friday night! Another week gone and another week closer to spring. Let’s get the what I’m wearing business out of the way, shall we? Here’s the last week’s worth of outfits…

[April 22 – April 22 boots – April 22 coat]

Now that we’ve taken a look at what I’ve  been wearing, let’s take a look at what other people are up to. Here’s the top five things that got my heart going pitter pat on the interwebs this week…

Time to take up quilting again??

[image:: film in the fridge]

Ok, owlets… as many of you know, I have not been a quilter in many years. It was fun while it lasted, but I really felt I’d made all the quilts necessary for this lifetime before I turned 27. Egad! I just realized that was 10 years ago! Anyway – I came across these pics this week on the blog Film in the Fridge and have been pleasantly distracted by plotting out a potential almost all white quilt with clever funky blocks. Thanks to whomever mentioned this blog in our blog roundup that was part of the giveaway!

My dream shoes…

Shoe obsession! I already whined about this on my facebook page, but it really warrants a top five mention for the week, due to the amount of time I’ve spent thinking about them... I am in LOVE with these shoes, available from the Australian company Wittner. The good news: they’re on sale! The bad news: shipping from Australia to the United States: $60AUD.

Mixing prints 101…

Since practically all of you listed this as one of your favorite blogs, I’m sure you’re all familiar… but I can’t get over how much I love the mix of print and stripes Casey posted as part of her 30x30 project. I also love the flats, belt, bright red lipstick, elegant ponytail and necklace-as-bracelet…

Favorite new song…

[video :: Sew Misunderstood]

Did all y’all watch Psycho Sue’s video of her awesome original song? It’s super catchy and super rocker girl! She can really sing! There’s also a great message to the song… but this girl can sing!

All I want for Christmas…

[video You Tube]

Sorry folks. I’m really not a “awwwww… I’m gonna forward this cute animal picture to everyone I know” type, but a friend posted this on Facebook and I’ve watched it about six hundred and eighty times. Pygmy goat stampede! I totally know what I’m getting Lucy the hound for Christmas! Perhaps the next giveaway as well??

And with that, I’m signing off for the weekend. I’ve got a little work at the shop on the schedule, some bike riding and about 40 rosebushes to prune!

I can't get over those shoes either. I may have created their own board for them on Pinterest. The gold-taupey color are what my shoe dreams are made of.

I just love love love Thursdays outfit with all its pink and floral polka dot happiness. You look as vibrant as your personality!

OMG! I have been lurking and reading your blog backposts, since Sal from Already Pretty recommended you. I have been trying to think of a comment on your absolute fabulousness: Plus size vintage vibe clothes, astounding seamstressing skills, the adorable dog (and house), your funny sense of humor and overall wonderful fashion sense - without sounding like a crazy stalker lady, but the pygmy goat video made me throw all caution to the wind and has thrown me over the edge. Now I will forever be your crazy stalker lady.. those goats are too stinkin' cute - and I am not a forwarder of animal videos either - except for this one.

Love those shoes too. And seeing as there is a store not to far from my home I might go and grab a pair. I wonder if the shipping is cheaper for me to do. If I do get them I'll weigh them. If its cheaper, maybe we can come to some sort of agreement :) By the way, LOVE your style.
